Dell - Goodwill Reconnect
Dell Inc. and the Goodwill Association of Michigan have formed a partnership to provide recycling opportunities for unwanted computers and computer components.

The goal of this program is to divert at least 3.3 million pounds of used computers and computer equipment from landfills over one year and to provide education on the importance of proper computer disposal.

They accept any brand of computer equipment, working or not, including:

  • Laptops: parts and accessories
  • Computers: towers, desktops, portables
  • Network equipment: hubs, routers, switches, cables, boards
  • Computer parts: hard drives, CD-ROM/DVD drives, loose PC boards, cables, discs, manufacturer manuals
  • Software: retail software (with licenses preferred, not required)
  • Flat-panel screens
  • Monitors
  • Printers and scanners

You are responsible for removing any data from your hard drive prior to donating.
All donations are tax deductible, refer to IRS publication 561
