Grand Rapids Art Museum
The GRAM is the first newly constructed LEED certified art museum in the world and is expected to receive a LEED gold rating from the USGBC. This is not an easy accomplishment for an art museum, due to the delicate nature of the artwork.
Consumers Energy has implemented a renewable energy program, green generation which is Green-e certified.
This renewable energy is produced here, in Michigan from 5% wind and 95% biomass.
Buying local can greatly reduce the impact on the environment and is beneficial to the social and economic development within our communities.
